One of China’s 10 famous teas, Qing Dynasty’s Emperor Kangxi gave it the name for its delicate flavour.
When the tightly fisted rolls, nicknamed green snail spring, open, a tea spirit is released. It freely enters us through sips, swirls and whiffs and opens up our blocks and inspires to sing, recite poetry or break into a dance. A royal tea, one of China’s ten favourites, has an earthy, grassy nature, that leaves a fulfilled sense of being with its fruity finish.
